Content & Copy Specialist
Content & Copy Specialist is a fully remote, full-time or part-time position, offering competitive pay, a flexible work schedule, growth opportunities, and an opportunity to work with a skilled team of digital marketers. This position has two primary roles:
- Generate SEO-optimized blogs and content with the assistance of AI platforms like ChatGPT. This includes crafting engaging and informative articles, meta titles, and descriptions based on provided target keywords.
- Developing high performing sales copy and creative brand messaging, for ad landing pages, websites, social media ads, video scripts, email newsletters, sms automations, and more.
Responsibilities
- Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT to create high-quality blog content that aligns with SEO best practices
- Perform topic research to verify facts in AI output and write articles that truly deserve to rank #1
- Write persuasive sales and marketing copy for landing pages, ads, emails and more.
- Develop powerful brand messaging for websites and marketing assets.
- Understand keyword intent and conduct keyword research to identify content opportunities and optimize existing content.
- Implement effective internal linking strategies to enhance website structure and improve SEO.
- Monitor and analyze content performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SEO blog writer or similar role.
- Proven experience in copywriting for sales and marketing collateral.
- Proficient in the English language with excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research tools.
- Experience using AI platforms like ChatGPT for content creation.
- Ability to find and interpret the intent behind keywords to create targeted content.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Skills & Experience
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience in a digital marketing agency or similar environment.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Knowledge of internal linking strategies and their impact on SEO.
- Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
