New Aged SEO part 2
With the dramatic change in the Internet today, webmasters and content managers really had to put their heads together in order to come up with some ideas to benefit websites. While the techniques involved in Search Engine Optimization has changed throughout the years, the goal of SEO has not. SEO still serves as a key strategy to improve a web site’s standing and draw in more traffic.
Social Media
Social media has really become more than just sites for individuals to meet and socialize. Now it can serve as a technique for SEO by networking, branding, and helping businesses connect to their customers in a personal way.
Backlinks
Along with keywords, backlinks have always served as a vital technique for SEO. Backlinks are a factor that can make or break a web site’s credibility. It’s simple. When doing research, students always need to be sure to have credible sources and a well-versed understanding of what they are talking about. The same goes for web sites. Whenever a site talks about something out of the range of common, everyday knowledge, it is necessary to have something to back it up, so that those who visit the page feel a sense of security that the site isn’t lying. This builds a trust system between visitors and the business, which creates and builds a reputation for this site. The most important thing about backlinking is that it improves a web site’s rank whenever someone links to the site; the more the merrier.
Design
Naturally, the design of a site is a huge contributing factor in SEO because no one wants to go to a site that is very plain, boring, and unattractive. A site’s attractiveness serves as a way to capture the eye of visitors, the content will draw them in, and how whether it is easy to find what they need may result in a business deal. If someone goes to a web site and finds it lacking in character, uninformative, and hard to find what they need to know, they will leave and you will lose a possible sale.
