Coco Chalfant is a Senior UX Lead at TD Ameritrade. She has been working as a professional in the field for 8 years. She has a dual master’s degree from Kent State University, Information Architecture and Knowledge Management (IAKM) & Masters of Library and Information Science (MLIS). She started attending the IA Summit while in grad school many years ago.
Using both her creative skills in design and her tenacious personality Coco excels at jump-starting results on stalled projects. She has held many roles in the field of UX, from Information Architect to UX Researcher. In her current role, she has worked tirelessly to launch a major redesign of the retail website, a project 3 years in the making. Her passions lie in creating great user experiences for the end user but also ensuring that her colleagues have a great experience while working on projects as well. She is a strong believer in the idea that one must design themselves and their team first in order to create good design.
